Jan Sadil
Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director
Jan Sadil (*1969) is a graduate of the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Civil Engineering, field of water works and water management.After graduating from university in 1994, he completed postgraduate studies in construction and economy at the Institute of Forensic Engineering at the Brno University of Technology and a two-semester course in financial economy and banking at the University of Economics in Prague. In 2004, he finished the National Certification Corporate Governance Programme. Jan Sadil then commenced his professional career in real estate valuation. In 1995, he started working in Komerční banka, his last position there being Director of the department of Retail Lending. He has worked at Hypoteční banka since 2001, when he was appointed a member of the Board of Directors and the Deputy General Director for Business Issues. Since 17 December 2003, he has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of the Bank. Jan Sadil is also a member of the Supervisory Committee of the Czech Banking Association and a member of the management board of the Association for Real Estate Market Development. In his free time, he mainly enjoys skiing, cycling, running, and water slalom, having been a former top sportsman and a representative of the Czech Republic in canoeing.
Petr Hlaváč
Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors and Deputy Director for Credit Issues (as of 17 January 2005)
Petr Hlaváč (*1965) graduated from the University of Economics in Prague, majoring in service and tourism. He gradually gained experience in Komerční banka (1991 – 1999) as the Head of department of Retail Lending, in Bank Austria CreditAnstalt Czech Republic (1999 – 2001), and in Česká spořitelna (2001 – 2004). In Bank Austria CreditAnstalt Czech Republic, he codeveloped the mortgage product Majordomus and led the department of Mortgage Factory. In Česká spořitelna, he participated in the management of the mobile sales network and, most recently, he managed the sales of Sporoservis consumer credit. On 17 January 2005, Mr. Hlaváč was appointed Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors and Deputy Director for Credit Issues of Hypoteční banka. Petr Hlaváč participated in a number of courses and short-term study stays in international mortgage banks (Germany, Portugal). His hobbies nclude sport (tennis, skiing, squash, and cycling) and music (guitar and keyboard).
Vlastimil Nigrin
Member of the Board of Directors and Deputy CEO for Business Matters
Vlastimil Nigrin (*1964) graduated from the Prague School of Economics, Economic Statistics Branch. Furthermore, he has graduated from the Graduate School of Banking, Louisiana, USA, and a number of managerial training courses. In 2002 – 2004 he held the job of Director of Operations and was a Member of the eBank Board of Directors. He acquired expert knowledge in the position of Senior Project Manager in the Home Credit Finance Bank, Moscow where he participated in the preparation of a new business model. Before he joined Hypoteční banka he worked as the Director of External Sales in Česká spořitelna. Since June 1, 2008 he has been Deputy CEO for business matters managing Hypoteční banka business teams. He was appointed a Member of the Board of Directors of Hypoteční banka at a meeting of the Supervisory Board held on February 12, 2009. Among his hobbies are sports (long distance running, triathlon and golf) and listening to jazz music.
Martin Vašek
Member of the Board of Directors and Deputy CEO for Financial Matters
Martin Vašek (*1977) graduated from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, School of Economics, Prague. He has attended several managerial training courses and conferences. He switched to Hypoteční banka from ČSOB where he held the position of Director of Operations Processing. Martin Vašek joined ČSOB in summer 2005 to hold the position of the Director of the Support to the Financial Markets Department; he was responsible for processing and clearing financial and capital market transactions. Before that he worked in auditing and advisory company PricewaterhouseCoopers. Since February 1, 2009 he has been Deputy CEO for Financial Matters at Hypoteční banka. He was appointed a Member of the Board of Directors of Hypoteční banka at a meeting of the Supervisory Board held on May 29, 2009. Among his hobbies are squash, skiing and basketball.
